The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is the CITB’s 5-day course for project managers, site managers, business owners or anyone who has aspirations to move into a management role. Successful completion of the course will provide you with a 5-year certificate that is widely recognised as a pre-requisite for any managerial jobs on (or as part of) large construction sites.

BUILDUK recognises this course as meeting the required standard for all supervisors and managers working on BUILDUK sites.

This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. There is a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course.
